Yes, it is possible to close the Trading account. If the Trading account is active, the Demat account can be closed only if:

• The Demat account is a standalone Demat account
• The Demat account is mapped as an addition to the client’s trading account, or the Demat account is mapped as an addition to the client’s trading account.
• We cannot close a Demat account that is mapped as the default with your trading account. You must map another DP account as the trading account’s default and then initiate Demat account closure.
