Q. Why is the profit shown in the ledger less than the one shown under Positions?
The profit displayed in the Positions tab represents intraday or real-time profits that have not yet been realized or settled.
However, the ledger shows settled profits, i.e., after
- Brokerage and other charges
- Taxes (like STT, GST, etc.)
- Settlement of trades (T+1/T+2 basis)
